► Locally, the Community Hope Center (CHC) has an important role in Harvest Time International's work.
The CHC is a self-sufficiency program to support low income and financially distressed families through supplying food, a variety of household goods and hygiene products. The CHC is a self-funding community service, which allows the recipient to participate in their own solution by giving a donation toward the cost of operations. more information
► Another constant in the work of Harvest Time International is our annual Christmas Bag of Joy (CBOJ).
Through this event low income families in Seminole and surrounding counties are enabled to shop freely in the CBOJ Toy Store and select gifts to give their children on Christmas day.

► Harvest Time International has been appointed as a Disaster Distribution and Recovery Center for Seminole County. We are working closely with County Emergency Management, Sheriff’s Department, FEMA, Red Cross, Salvation Army, and many other agencies and organizations both locally and statewide.
► Harvest Time International is active in providing relief, both emergency and long-term, to hurricane, tornado, floods, etc. in our own community, as well as nationally and internationally. We provided 29 forty-foot containers for Tsunami relief, several truckloads of relief product to victims of Katrina, Rita, and the victims of the four hurricanes that hit Florida in 2004, and the F-4 Tornados that hit Seminole and surrounding counties in 1998.
► Harvest Time International is:
● a founding member of Seminole H.E.A.R.T., which is a disaster unmet needs organization established in 1998.
● a member of Seminole United, which is dedicated to uniting all sectors of the non-profit community for more effective assistance to those in need in normal times and in disaster situations.
● on the Seminole County CSBG Advisory Board, which is for directing government funds for self-sufficiency programs offered by the County.
● a member of the Seminole County/Lake Mary and the Sanford Chamber of Commerce.
● a member of the Central Florida Christian Chamber of Commerce.
● a member of the Sanford Ministers Fellowship.
